Listen To My Latest Podcast Episode: Signature Story Case Study with Jono Petrohilos
We’re back with another exciting interview from a million dollar course creator, Jono Petrohilos.
I had the pleasure of being a guest on Jono’s podcast, Course Creator Community Podcast: Craft Your SIgnature Talk with Heather Sager.
Jono’s storytelling ability and strong communication skills impressed me from the start. When I heard him share his signature story (from being ranked as the worst fitness bootcamp instructor to creating a million dollar digital course business TEACHING other fitness instructors), I knew I had to have him on the show.
In this episode we’re doing something a little different. Instead of digging into Jono’s expertise on building a digital course business (though he drops some great gems in the episode), our conversation was designed to be a case study for crafting a strong Signature Story.
You’ll hear Jono share his story (like he would from a stage), then we have a candid conversation around why it worked, what process...
I use Pinterest to save recipes, holiday decor ideas and design inspiration, so whenever I hear someone preach “you should be using Pinterest for business”, I roll my eyes thinking, “who searches for business content on that platform”?
Turns out, a lot of people directly on the platform and indirectly through Google (which pulls straight from Pinterest).
If you’re looking to drive more traffic to your website, drop everything and listen to this conversation with Pinterest Pro, Cara Chace, who helped me understand Pinterest as an evergreen traffic source— versus the daily turn of social media.
As the creator of Pin Power Method, Cara teaches entrepreneurs how to use Pinterest effectively in their business and in this episode she shares how you can put Pinterest to use for your online business without spending countless hours each week.
Your style is something that makes you unique. A big part of this is how you show up, what you're wearing and how you're styled. They all come together and create a story. That’s why I brought in this week's guest, Trish Taylor, a stylist and a brand embodiment coach who helps online entrepreneurs grow their brand and confidence and show up authentically.
We talk about practical styling tips and how your style can help bring your brand to life in photos and video. We also take a little woo woo turn and talk about how to move past mental blocks when it comes to being seen using tools like meditation and journaling and even EFT tapping.
Not into the woo? No sweat, we approach this in a way that will fuel your soul to help you confidently show up for your brand, whether you're nervous getting on video or terrified of putting yourself out there on podcasts. So if you've ever struggled with that a bit, this episode is definitely for you.
As we think about entering this next quarter with the end of the year coming into view, it might feel tempting to coast for the next few months. Today is a reminder that you have big goals and NOW is the time to make them happen.
Today's guest, business coach Katie Wussow will help you create a strategic plan for the fourth quarter and will share some mistakes people make when it comes to the planning process, specifically goal setting and how you could avoid them (hint: if you’re a dreamer who loves coming up with the ideas, but falls short on following through with the actual steps to make it happen, pay close attention). This conversation is a must-listen if you want to level up your approach in your business and to create more flexibility and freedom to do the things you want.
Inside this episode, you’ll learn:
Are masterminds all hype or all help? Are they really that transformational? What’s the difference between a coaching program and a mastermind? Why do they cost so dang much??
These questions and more will be discussed in this episode featuring my guest, Jen Argue, CEO and head mastermind facilitator. Find out exactly what a mastermind is, what it’s not and decide if this kind of community just might be what you’re missing in your business.

As a speaking coach, I’m good with words.
I used to feel weird saying that, like I was being braggadocious, but now I’m confident in my skills (I mean, if we can’t own the skills we’ve worked hard to master, how can we expect others to believe in us?!)
Seriously. Pass me a mic and I’ll deliver an inspirational pep that will make you laugh, tear up with emotion and teach you something that will stick with you.
BUT, give me a blank piece of paper, or empty google doc and ask me to write a paragraph of inspiration?
I’ll take my seat on the struggle bus.
I’ve learned that it’s one thing to speak words and another to write them.
The former comes naturally for me, the later… I’ve had to develop.
I’ve also learned that it’s the opposite for many… with writing feeling more natural and controlled and speaking… total deer in headlights!
Take my client Zafira Rajan.
She’s literally a professional...
There's a shift happening in the online business space as consumers are becoming increasingly turned off by overt selling tactics. So how can entrepreneurs adapt to the new way of selling online? This is a question that today's guest and Sales Enablement Strategist, Luis Báez will answer (plus a whole lot more).
With over 14 years in Sales & Marketing, Luis brings a breadth of knowledge and experience that spans across Digital Advertising, Software-as-a-Service, and Sustainability — with a revenue impact of over $500 Million to date. This was one of the most practical and inspiring interviews I’ve had on the show. Luis spoke from his heart, and his truth from living in poverty to being an out gay Latino sales executive and how each experience has shaped how he teaches others to show up, serve well and stand out.
Since leaving his corporate sales life, Luis has dedicated his work to empowering and enabling underrepresented entrepreneurs and online businesses...
